My name has changed. How can I ensure that this will be reflected on my diploma?

If your legal name has changed, you must complete a name change/correction form and mail it or bring it in person to the Highlander One-Stop Shop (HOSS) by the last day of finals in your graduating quarter. You will be required to provide supporting documents for a legal name change.
When diplomas are ordered your lived name will be the default name that appears on your diploma. However, you may also choose to have your legal name or a different variation of your name (middle initial, etc.) displayed instead. An email will be sent to your UCR email address towards the end of your graduation term with information on how to provide your preferred name for your diploma.
