Enrollment and Degree Verification

Please Note: The campus will be closed Monday, December 21st through Sunday, January 3rd and will reopen Monday, January 4th. If you require transcripts, enrollment verifications or other documents from the Registrar's Office, please ensure you plan accordingly.

Student Requests

Verification of student status for the current and previous terms may be obtained from the Office of The Registrar for the purposes indicated:


--Student loan deferments
--Employment
--Cal Grant
--Congressional Teachers Fellowship
--Law school references
--Credit card companies
--Good student driver's discount
--Insurance companies
--Banking services
--Military ID


Allow 5 to 7 business days for verifications to be processed.
Verification requests prior to the third week of instruction will be processed only if the student has paid fees and enrolled.


If you do not have a form you can print out a Verification Request Form, fill in all the information requested, return it in person to the Highlander One Stop Shop (HOSS) on the first floor of the Student Services Building, or by mail to the address below. If your browser cannot print the Verification Request Form, you may request verification by a signed letter in which you include the same information. If verification is to be mailed, mail form or letter
and a stamped envelope to:

Third-Party Requests

UCR has authorized National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for all third-party verifications of student enrollment and degrees. Degree verification for the most recent term is available approximately eight weeks after the term ends. The clearinghouse abides by all provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). All agencies contacting the Office of the Registrar for enrollment verification will be referred to National Student Clearinghouse. Neither UCR nor the National Student Clearinghouse will acknowledge or disclose information based on a social security number. The National Student Clearinghouse can be contacted at:
